We need to hire a smart, capable, and motivated Network Administrator to work with our clients to manage their technology systems and assist in maintaining strong client relationships.
Our Network Administrator will be responsible for helping our clients in IT services such as: Technical--technology strategy, budgeting, purchasing, documentation ownership, warranties, project management, it asset disposals, help ticket management, hands-on & webinars/virtual training, google administration. Client relations-- consistent check-ins, related communications, user satisfaction surveys, coordinate incorporation of additional services as contracted and attending important client events. Requires daily travel to clients in the greater Boston area.
This opportunity will provide exposure to a wide variety of technical environments and challenges through our work with a diverse group of growing businesses and non-profit organizations including high technology and internet startups, law firms, philanthropic organizations, charter schools, social service organizations, along with other professional service companies. You will be joining a team of respected IT professionals known for their combination of personality, obsession for problem solving, great communication skills, and the desire to help clients and team members succeed.
-Assist in successfully managing client relationships.
-Responsible for managing and completing daily IT operations for client accounts
-Responsible for completion of helpdesk tasks and closing corresponding tickets. Monitor ticket analysis and respond accordingly to short term and long term issues.
-Responsible for monitoring and maintaining network uptime at client
-Manage installs and upgrades, software licensing & renewals, and purchasing of software and hardware
-Oversee inventory management
-Maintain ongoing communications and updates with Client Manager and other members of the Insource Services IT team
-Participating in client related IT discussions
-Reports to Director of IT Services
-3+ years of relevant experience at small to mid-sized firms
-Demonstrated experience explaining and presenting technology information and solutions to non-technical audiences
-Excellent working knowledge of IP and internet/email topology and networked systems
-Excellent working knowledge of all Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Applications
-Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
-Ability to troubleshoot problems and follow through to resolution
-Excellent and proven organizational and project management skills
-High degree of self-motivation; able to work independently with minimal supervision
-Enthusiastic, outgoing, sense of humor
-4 year degree
-Ability to travel between client sites in the Greater Boston area
